AS’BOIS – INSPIRED BY NATURE​

In the village of Val Suran in the sourth of Jura, AS’Bois maintains the traditional expertise of the wood turner and the tabletier ("tablet maker"). Combining long-standing techniques with innovation, this Living Heritage company creaes objects whose beauty is matched only by the excellence of the material used: wood.
Surrounded by the forests of the mountains in the Franche-Comté region, AS'Bois sources its materials locally and sustainably, having made the ecology and respect for the environment central to its work practices.
For Diptyque, it produces elegant wooden lids for candles and candle holders. This collection is an ode to the raw beauty of nature: it emphasizes the veins in the wood, the curves reminding us of the Diptyque oval.​
