The small size is particularly suitable for more intimate rooms, the classic size for small and medium rooms, and the large or extra large sizes for spacious rooms and outdoor areas. To intensify the diffusion, it is also possible to combine several candles.

Several factors influence the burn time of a Diptyque candle: the size and ventilation of the room, the nature and concentration of the its maintenance.

As a guide, here are the average burn times by size:

- Miniatures (35g): approximately 10 hours
- Small size (70g): approximately 20 hours
- Classic size (190g): approximately 50 hours
- Les Mondes de Diptyque (270g): approximately 60 hours
- Medium size (300g): approximately 75 hours
- Large size (600g): approximately 90 hours
- Very large size (1.5kg): approximately 120 hours
- Giant size (5kg): approximately 300 hours

We offer an exceptional semi-bespoke candle service, exclusively available in the Private Salons of our Diptyque Maisons in Paris and London.

This service allows you to create a unique candle from more than 200 possible combinations of scents and finishes:

- 25 stoneware pot designs and finishes are available, crafted by the Porcelaine Virebent factory, a long-standing partner of the Maison.

- Each creation is then completed with a fragrance selected from eight iconic scents: Figuier, Baies, Roses, Ambre, Feu de Bois, Tubéreuse, or 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain, Mimosa, exclusive to this service,

Each candle is made to order by our wax maker in the south of France.
